Eagle Rock
No,.not that EagleRock,..Eagle ROCK, which is located in the middle of
the Santa Monica Mountains, 6 miles north of Pacific Palisades, about 1,600 ft up.
It has terric views of both the Valley and the Ocean, including Catalina Island.
Lake Arrowhead
Whenever I go up to folks cabin in Lake Arrowhead, I try to bring along my bike.
Not only is the air much cleaner (tho quite thinner), but the water is drinkable
As you can see, the terrain can vary quite a bit.
One minute I'll be biking thru the forest and streams, and the next I'm overlooking the entire Mojave desert! It's great riding,.tho I normally ride solo, so unless I run across a hiker, I take pictures of just my bike (to prove I was there!)
